Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi has worked as an actor in Hindi films since the year 1986. In 2004 Ayesha Takia was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance as the lead on Taarzan The Wonder Car which served as her acting debut. Later, Takia appeared in films such as Paathshaala (2011) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2006) and Socha Na Tha (2007). The first commercial she appeared in was for Complan the well-known drink for health. Shahid Kapoor, the Bollywood superstar appeared with her in I am a Complan boy/I am a Complangirl. Her performance in the remixed song Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin was also notable. The success of the song across India in the time of its remix brought her fame. She began receiving invitations to play in Bollywood movies. Takia's debut, originally planned to be a part of Socha Na Tha was delayed because of production issues. Ayesha's moral courage was displayed in her attack on her father-in-law's political views Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party member Abu Azmi for his views regarding the punishment of rape victims. As part of an PETA advertisement in India, Ayesha declared that she is a vegan. In 2006, the actress was listed as one of the Top 100 Most Desirable Woman in India. Ayesha Takia's cheeks are swollen, large lips and wide eyes, which suggests she had plastic surgery. The Ayesha Takia fans find it difficult to believe that they are not yet seen a success of plastic procedure.
